our 6 bed property - ideal for larger groups
Our largest & most lavish property: The Milking Parlour, sleeping up to 16, consists of 6 bedrooms and 6 en-suite bathrooms. The barn was originally used back in 1750 as the Milking Parlour for the farm; we've now restored it using natural products and original techniques, incorporating modern technologies and ecologically friendly materials and equipment, such as air source heat pumps and solar panels. Our own natural spring provides water to the barn.
The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen is extremely spacious with panoramic views over the Axe Valley out to the Jurassic coastline.
The kitchen incorporating all the modern accessories, is fully equipped to cater for big groups with two ovens and a large American fridge freezer, The dining table seats 16, and the lounge is very relaxing, with large easy sofas and a LCD flat screen TV and iPod docking station.
All bedroom suites have LCD TV’s, plenty of storage, and all bed combinations can be altered to suit.
Bedroom 1 is situated on the ground floor, and has a light, airy feel with a large full length window with views of the courtyard and has a king-size bed. The en-suite bathroom comprises of bath and separate shower.
Bedroom 2 is again situated on the ground floor, and has a very cosy feel, with a king-size bed, and en-suite with a Jacuzzi bath and separate shower.
Bedroom 3 and 6 are our family rooms, situated on the first floor; each room has a king-size bed and two full size single beds. Each en-suite has a separate bath and shower.
Bedroom 4 is the smallest of our double bedrooms, on the first floor and consists of either a double bed or twin beds. A roof light projects light into the room, and the en-suite has a large bath with overhead shower.
Bedroom 5 has a large floor to ceiling window with views towards the sea, king-size bed and an En-suite with bath and overhead shower.
